NEURAPTIC IS TAKING PART IN IMITAI, A PROJECT TO CREATE ACCURATE INDUSTRIAL ROBOTS THAT USE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BASED ON IMITATIVE LEARNING.
Neuraptic, an Artificial Intelligence company specialising in Machine Learning, is working on the imitAI project that intends to develop a new robotic solution capable of adapting its movement autonomously and accurately in the typical changing industrial environments where the operation point position might be non-fixed and uncontrollable. To carry out this assignment, Neuraptic is working with AIN (Asociación de la Industria Navarra); industrial companies BSH, SKF and Gestamp; the Public University of Navarre and Satelec.
The idea is that the robot created by imitAI learns to imitate a task after running a series of demonstrations on how this should be done, trying to make this number as small as possible.
In this project, each of the partners provides all their experience and specialisation:
- Satelec, experience in robotics.
- AIN, experience in sensors and integration of control hardware and software.
- BSH, GESTAMP and SKF: broad knowledge of industrial processes (problem issues, requirements and capabilities).
- UPNA and Neuraptic: specialists in research and development of Artificial Intelligence and artificial vision solutions.
